Brushes and Wine

I went to a vineyard where we had painting and a glass of wine. Both my mom and I went and we had fun painting together for the first time in a long time.

I didn't quite follow exactly what we were supposed to be painting but I'm not a big fan of dog wood trees. I like cherry trees though! I've been using acrylic (cheap acrylic really) for the last month. I'm aching to use some good paint!

Felt a bit odd when someone was talking about being only a math major. Didn't want to pull out the physics major card on them! Though I guess that's different because I do have an art degree too. :P

Finally done!

I'm finally done with India Nite and I'm feeling great! Wore a sari, got told I was pretty, and that my backdrop was great!

Now I have more time to do work. I'm waiting until after taxes to restart my fiverr commissions. I'm doodling right now. I love doodling!!

India Nite Prep

Nope, it's not a misprint! Nite. I know, I asked to change it to India Night, but apparently it's tradition. I'm sort of the art director for the stage backdrop and we're having fun putting everything together.

I'll post pictures once it's done, but this is the main reason I haven't been posting paintings! I'm working on this art. And in the process getting better at Urdu and Hindi!
